Isogenic iPS Cell Lines
Alstem provides a suite of isogenic iPSC-derived cell lines specifically engineered for studying the role of APOE in neurodegeneration. Starting from an APOE ε4 iPSC line, generated from human bone marrow CD34+ mononuclear cells reprogrammed with transient Yamanaka factor expression, we have created a panel of isogenic APOE variants (ε2, ε3, and knockout) using CRISPR-mediated gene editing. These isogenic models provide a powerful platform to dissect APOE-associated mechanisms and accelerate translational research in Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.
